Job summary

Candii is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems across the Perth metropolitan area. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive hourly rate from $55 per hour plus super, with a company vehicle, tools and a home every night.

Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, you will conduct scheduled servicing, diagnose faults and support upgrades and new installations.

Qualifications

• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Western Australian Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Valid Australian driver's licence.
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months, or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration plant.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot and complete repairs to keep client downtime to a minimum.
• Support upgrade works, plant replacements and new installations as part of project delivery.
• Give clients practical advice on system performance, improvements and compliance.
• Run your own jobs, while working alongside other technicians and helping apprentices.
• Keep safety standards high and works compliant with regulations and company procedures.
• Take up ongoing training and keep your technical skills current.

Perth Metro | Full Time, Permanent | From $55 per hour + super

No FIFO, no shutdowns, no weekend roster. Commercial refrigeration work across the metro, a company vehicle in the driveway, and you are home every night.

About the Role: Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, you will service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems across a varied client portfolio in the Perth metropolitan area. The work is a genuine mix of scheduled maintenance, breakdowns and project works, so you are not doing the same call out five days a week.

You will:

• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration plant
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently to keep client downtime to a minimum
• Support upgrade works, plant replacements and new installations as part of project delivery
• Give clients practical advice on system performance, improvements and compliance
• Run your own jobs, while working alongside other technicians and helping bring apprentices along
• Keep safety standards high and works compliant with regulations and company procedures
• Take up ongoing training and keep your technical skills current

What You'll Need to Succeed

This is a refrigeration role first. Commercial refrigeration experience is what matters here, and a solid diagnostic head on you matters more than how many years are on the ticket.
