Job summary

Baltech Services Pty Ltd is a dynamic Brisbane-based company servicing hospitality clients with electrical, refrigeration and beverage systems. We seek a Service Technician with a dual trade and Queensland restricted electrical license plus Refrigeration Arctic license to install and maintain post-mix beverage systems and catering equipment.

You will work from the south side of Brisbane and travel to SE Queensland, with 40-hour weeks and rotating on-call roster.

Qualifications

• Minimum dual trade: Queensland restricted electrical license and Refrigeration Arctic license.
• Experience installing and maintaining post-mix beverage systems and frozen beverage units.
• Small refrigeration maintenance experience and cold room service experience are valued.
• Electricians with relevant background may apply if they have an Arctic license and dual trade.
• Current C class manual vehicle license and CPR certificate are required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain post-mix beverage systems and catering equipment.
• Perform electrical and refrigeration servicing across hospitality sites.
• Support on-call roster with overtime as needed.

Job description

Baltech Services is a dynamic and versatile company who service many major hospitality and fast food clients , servicing/maintaininga wide range of products as well as general electrical , refrigeration , beverage services and more .

We are based on the south side of Brisbane , but service the general S/E QLD area.

Most of our staff are versatile in different aspects of the electrical and refrigeration fields.

The successful applicant will preferably have experiencein the hospitality service industry , as a ServiceTechnician with a dual trade minimum of a QLD restricted electrical licenseand Refrigeration Arctic license .

Experienceinstalling and maintainingPost mix beverage systems and frozen sparkling beverage units , highly regardedfor this position .

Small refrigeration maintenance experience will be well regarded , as well as cold room service/maintenance experience .

Technical equipment repair back ground will be well regardedfor this position , preferably with catering equipment in hospitality

Full training will be provided to thesuccessful applicant . Electricians (electrical fitter/mechanics ) are welcome to apply if they have a back ground in these areas and have a fullArctic license ( dual trade )

The successful applicant will have a minimum of arestricted electrical license , Refrigeration Arctic license , current c class manual vehicle license , currentCPR certificate and must have own tools of the trade including all meters , power tools , hand tools , refrigeration related equipment/tools , etc .

We will supply all uniforms , vehicle , phone , etc, for work purposes .

Hourly rate / wages will be subject to negotiation , dependant on experience .

Working week is 40 hourswith 2 x hours accrued to rdo time .

It is a condition of employment that all technicians take part in a rotatingon call24/7 roster , with our expanding team ( An on call allowance is provided , plus min 3 hrs per callout at applicable overtime rates ) .
