Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking an experienced API Red Hat Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade API solutions using the Red Hat ecosystem. The role focuses on RESTful APIs, microservices, and secure integrations on OpenShift with 3scale API Management.

You'll implement API security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect), automate deployments, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable cloud-native applications. AU citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in API development with Java/Spring Boot.
• Hands-on OpenShift container platform experience.
• Experience with Red Hat 3scale API Management.
• Strong REST, microservices and API governance knowledge.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience; AU Citizenship required.

We are seeking an experienced API Red Hat Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise‑grade API solutions using the Red Hat ecosystem. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and cloud‑native applications leveraging Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat 3scale API Management, microservices architectures, and modern integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Implement API lifecycle management using Red Hat 3scale API Management.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
• Define and implement API security controls including OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API gateways.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems using API-led architecture principles.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience in API development using Java/Spring Boot or similar technologies.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift container platform.
• Experience with Red Hat 3scale API Management.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and API governance.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• AU Citizenship is mandatory for this role
