Job summary

Tomra's St Marys Depot in Sydney is hiring a Recycling Centre Attendant. If you enjoy being on your feet, talking with people and staying active, this role is for you. You will help customers load bottles and cans into the Return and Earn machine and ensure the site runs smoothly.

You'll work as part of a friendly team, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a cleaner environment and community. Previous cleaning or maintenance experience and good communication are valued; police checks and

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Certifications in first aid or fire warden preferred.
• Safety mindset and ability to work independently.

• Meet and greet customers and assist with loading bottles/cans from car to the Return and Earn machine.

Job Description

Join the crew at our St Marys Depot!

Love being on your feet, chatting with people and getting stuck in? This could be your kind of job. At TOMRA, no two days are the same and we're looking for friendly, hands-on people who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and give it a go.

In this role, you'll be right in the action helping keep our depot running smoothly. You'll meet and greet customers, give them a hand getting their bottles and cans from car to machine and show them how our Return and Earn machines work . You'll also help keep the site clean, safe and running like a well-oiled machine.

We're looking for someone who can work independently, bring good energy to the team and be the go-to friendly face that locals recognise. If you enjoy helping people, staying active and being part of something that makes a real difference in the community and for the environment, you'll fit right in.

• Pay rate for adults is paid at Level 2 Waste Management Award.
