Job summary

Join the TOMRA team at the Rouse Hill Depot in New South Wales, Australia. You will be the friendly, hands-on face helping customers with their bottles and cans, guiding them through the Return and Earn machines, and keeping the depot clean and safe.

This full-time role requires you to work 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day per week, ensuring smooth operation while representing TOMRA’s purpose-driven mission for sustainable recycling.

Qualifications

  • Cleaning or maintenance experience.
  • High level of communication (verbal and written).
  • First aid and/or fire warden certification.
  • Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers at the depot.
  • Assist customers with bottles and cans from car to machine.
  • Explain how Return and Earn machines work.
  • Keep the site clean, safe and running smoothly.

Join the crew at our Rouse Hill Depot!

Love being on your feet, chatting with people and getting stuck in? This could be your kind of job. At TOMRA, no two days are the same and we’re looking for friendly, hands‑on people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and give it a go.

In this role, you’ll be right in the action helping keep our depot running smoothly. You’ll meet and greet customers, give them a hand getting their bottles and cans from car to machine and show them how our Return and Earn machines work . You’ll also help keep the site clean, safe and running like a well‑oiled machine.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, bring good energy to the team and be the go-to friendly face that locals recognise. If you enjoy helping people, staying active and being part of something that makes a real difference in the community and for the environment, you’ll fit right in.

  • Pay rate for adults is paid at Level 2 Waste Management Award.
  • Full time role- 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day per week
  • Federal police check, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks are part of the background process for employment.
