Job summary

Tomra Group is seeking a full-time team member at our Batemans Bay Depot. In this hands-on role, you will engage with customers, assist with recycling items, and ensure the depot remains clean and safe. If you enjoy helping others and working actively, this position is for you.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• First aid and fire warden certifications are advantageous.
• A safety-oriented mindset is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers at the depot.
• Assist customers with recycling items.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the site.
• Work independently and provide a friendly presence.

Join the crew at our Batemans Bay Depot! Love being on your feet, chatting with people and getting stuck in? This could be your kind of job. At TOMRA, no two days are the same and we’re looking for friendly, hands‑on people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and give it a go.

In this role, you’ll be right in the action helping keep our depot running smoothly. You’ll meet and greet customers, give them a hand getting their bottles and cans from car to machine and show them how our Return and Earn machines work. You’ll also help keep the site clean, safe and running like a well‑oiled machine.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, bring good energy to the team and be the go‑to friendly face that locals recognise. If you enjoy helping people, staying active and being part of something that makes a real difference in the community and for the environment, you’ll fit right in.

Common Questions

• Pay rate for adults is paid at Level 2 Waste Management Award.
• Full time role- 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day per week
• Federal police check, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks are part of the background process for employment.
