Job summary

TOMRA in Australia is seeking a friendly Recycling Centre Attendant for our St Marys Depot. You’ll be on your feet, meet customers, help them load bottles and cans into the machine, and demonstrate how our Return and Earn machines work.

This full-time role keeps the depot running smoothly and requires a proactive, safety-minded team player. You’ll stay active, keep the site clean and safe, and represent TOMRA with a welcoming attitude, helping the local community support recycling efforts across

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Cleaning or maintenance experience.
• High level of communication (verbal and written).
• First aid certification and/or fire warden training.
• Safety mindset and vigilance.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers at the depot.
• Help customers with bottles and cans from car to machine and explain the Return and Earn process.
• Keep the site clean, safe and running smoothly.

Love being on your feet, chatting with people and getting stuck in? This could be your kind of job. At TOMRA, no two days are the same and we’re looking for friendly, hands-on people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and give it a go.

In this role, you’ll be right in the action helping keep our depot running smoothly. You’ll meet and greet customers, give them a hand getting their bottles and cans from car to machine and show them how our Return and Earn machines work . You’ll also help keep the site clean, safe and running like a well-oiled machine.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, bring good energy to the team and be the go-to friendly face that locals recognise. • Pay rate for adults is paid at Level 2 Waste Management Award.


• Full time role- 4 weekdays + 1 Weekend day per week


• Federal police check, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks are part of the background process for employment.
