Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra is seeking a Recruitment Officer to join the People and Culture Division. You will deliver recruitment services, guide decision-making with policy knowledge, and support hiring managers and candidates through a professional process.

The role requires experience in recruitment or HR administration, attention to detail, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach. Prior use of HR systems like PeopleSoft or PageUp is advantageous.

We are seeking a Recruitment Officer to join the People and Culture Division. This is an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of recruitment services, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to support a smooth and professional experience for both hiring managers and candidates.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day recruitment advice and support, applying your understanding of policies and procedures to guide decision-making and ensure compliance. You will work with Divisions and Schools, building effective relationships and contributing to consistent recruitment outcomes.

The successful candidate will bring experience in recruitment or broader HR administration, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. We value adaptability, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to interpret and apply policy, and this role offers the opportunity to further develop these capabilities. Experience with HR and recruitment systems (ideally PeopleSoft and PageUp) will be beneficial.
