Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a national recruitment function across multiple locations

  • Drive process improvements across TA systems and candidate experience
  • Provide workforce planning insights and market intelligence to leadership

  • Collaborate with HR and operations leaders across sites nationally

Job description

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will lead the organisation's national recruitment function, managing a team of six Talent Acquisition professionals across multiple locations. This is an exciting opportunity to influence workforce strategy, partner with senior leaders, and drive recruitment excellence across a complex, multi-site operation.

About the Role

As the Recruitment Lead, you will be responsible for designing and executing recruitment strategies that attract, engage, and retain top talent across a diverse workforce. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and executives, ensuring recruitment outcomes align with operational and strategic business objectives.

This role requires someone who can confidently navigate competing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a national team of six recruitment professionals.
  • Develop and implement end-to-end recruitment strategies across corporate, operational, technical and manufacturing functions.
  • Partner closely with Executive Leaders, Hiring Managers and HR stakeholders to understand workforce needs and deliver proactive recruitment solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across talent acquisition processes, systems and candidate experience.
  • Provide workforce planning support and market insights to business leaders.
  • Ensure recruitment activity aligns with organisational growth plans and labour market conditions.
  • Oversee agency partnerships and recruitment vendor management.
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with HR and operational leaders across multiple sites nationally.
About You

You are an influential and adaptable recruitment professional with demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams in complex environments. You are comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on when required.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in a Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager or Recruitment Lead capacity.
  • Experience managing recruitment teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
  • Experience supporting high-volume and diverse workforce recruitment requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building and consulting skills.
  • The ability to remain agile and resilient in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food manufacturing, logistics or industrial sectors will be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian immigration processes, visa sponsorship and skilled migration pathways is highly desirable.
