ROUNDWOOD ENGINEERING & CIVIL PTY LTD in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to grow our construction labour hire business. You’ll win new clients, manage selected accounts and recruit workers when needed, with scope to lead a team as the business expands.

We supply workers to civil, commercial and residential construction clients. The role offers a competitive base salary with an attractive commission structure and a company ute.

Recruitment Consultant – Construction & Labour Hire

Roundwood | Sydney | Full-time

Roundwood is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to help grow our construction labour hire business in Sydney.

This role has a strong focus on winning new business and building lasting client relationships. You’ll also manage selected accounts and recruit workers when needed, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the business grows.

About Roundwood

We supply workers to civil, commercial and residential construction clients. We’re a small, dedicated team that values reliable service, strong relationships and knowing the people we put on site.

The role

• Identify and win new construction clients across Sydney.

• Generate opportunities through calls, site visits, meetings, networking and LinkedIn.

• Build relationships with site managers, project managers and business owners.

• Understand client workforce requirements and secure repeat business.

• Manage selected accounts, maintaining regular contact and a high standard of service.

• Source, interview and place suitable workers when required.

• Work closely with management to develop Roundwood’s presence in NSW.

About you

• Agency recruitment experience within the construction sector.

• Ideally, a background in labour hire or blue collar recruitment. Consultants with white collar construction recruitment experience are also encouraged to apply.

• A track record of winning new business and developing client relationships.

• Confidence picking up the phone, visiting sites and meeting prospective clients.

• Strong communication, organisation and follow-through.

• A practical understanding of construction clients and their workforce needs.

• The drive to take ownership of your desk and contribute to a growing business.
