Randstad South Australia is expanding and seeks a proactive Recruitment Consultant to take over a warm, fast-paced 360 SME public sector desk within our Industrial team in Wayville. This role focuses on supplying skilled blue-collar talent across day, afternoon, and night shifts, with strong growth potential.

You’ll drive full-cycle recruitment, balance client development with proactive sourcing, and build long-term relationships with candidates and clients across the South Australian market.

Qualifications

• Open to experienced 360 Recruiters or professionals transitioning from related roles.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple urgent placements in a dynamic environment.
• Confident phone presence with strong relationship-building skills.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for client visits.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Are you looking to launch or elevate your recruitment career by running a desk that feels like your own mini-business? Randstad South Australia is expanding, and we are looking for a proactive Recruitment Consultant to take over a warm, fast-paced 360 SME public sector desk within our Industrial team in Wayville.

This role focuses on supplying skilled blue-collar talent such as Forklift Drivers, Production/Assembly Workers, and Warehousing/Stores personnel - across day, afternoon, and night shifts. You will step into a warm desk with huge potential for additional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• 360 Desk Management: Drive full-cycle recruitment, balancing client business development with proactive candidate sourcing.
• Business Development & Promo Calls: Follow up provided leads from weekly state catch-ups, make outbound promo calls, and conduct on-site client visits across Adelaide CBD and Southern Suburbs.
• Candidate Pipelining & Engagement: Go beyond job boards—build strong candidate networks through referrals, pre-screening, and maintaining an active pool of trade industrial talent ready to deploy at short notice.
• In-Person Pre-Employment Assessments: Conduct physical pre-employment checks and capability assessments in our Adelaide office to ensure candidates are work-ready.
• Account Care: Build authentic, long-term relationships with both candidates and clients across the South Australian market.

What We Are Looking For

• Background: Open to experienced 360 Recruiters OR commercial sales, account management, retail, and travel industry professionals looking to transition into agency recruitment.
• Agility & Drive: Ability to multitask, pivot quickly, and manage multiple urgent placements in a fast-changing environment.
• Communication Skills: Confident on the phone, strong face-to-face presence, and a genuine passion for building relationships with candidates and clients.
• Transport: Must hold a valid driver's license and have your own reliable vehicle for client site visits.
