Job summary

Warrikal Pty is seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join its Operational Services team, based at the West Perth office. The role focuses on sourcing and securing skilled tradespeople across WA's mining and resources sector, supporting shutdown and maintenance needs.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment for trade-based roles, build talent pipelines, and work with operations to understand labour demand and priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within mining, resources, maintenance or shutdown environments.
• Experience recruiting tradespeople, particularly Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers and specialist trades.
• Strong understanding of WA trades and maintenance labour market.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for shutdown and maintenance roles, with a primary focus on trade-based positions.
• Source and attract skilled tradespeople, including Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers and specialist maintenance trades.
• Build and maintain active talent pools to support current and upcoming shutdown and maintenance requirements.
• Work closely with Operations and workforce planning teams to understand labour demand and recruitment priorities.
• Develop and deliver targeted sourcing strategies and recruitment campaigns for hard-to-find trades.
• Conduct candidate screening, interviews and reference checks and qualification verification.
• Manage candidate documentation, licences, tickets and compliance throughout the recruitment process.
• Monitor recruitment activity, pipeline health and market insights to identify gaps and improve hiring outcomes.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment information within JobAdder and associated systems.
• Deliver a responsive and professional experience for candidates and operational stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join our Operational Services team on a full-time basis, based at our West Perth office.

This role will take ownership of recruitment across Warrikal's shutdown and maintenance operations, with a strong focus on sourcing and securing skilled tradespeople across Western Australia's mining and resources sector.

Working closely with our operational leaders, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for a range of trade-based roles, including Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers, Specialist Fitters and other specialised maintenance trades. You will play an important role in building and maintaining talent pipelines, understanding upcoming workforce requirements and ensuring we have the right people available to support our shutdown and maintenance commitments.

This is a hands-on recruitment role suited to someone who knows the trades market, enjoys proactive sourcing and can build strong relationships with both candidates and operational stakeholders.

About You

• Minimum three years' experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within mining, resources, maintenance or shutdown environments.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting tradespeople, particularly Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers and specialist trades.
• Strong understanding of the WA trades and maintenance labour market.
• Confident sourcing candidates through multiple channels, networks and existing talent pools.
• Able to build effective relationships with operational leaders and understand changing workforce requirements.
• Proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly around recruitment administration and compliance.
• A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Recruitment or a related discipline (desirable).
