City of Sydney is seeking a Recreation Officer to join our Ultimo Community Centre. You will deliver social, cultural, educational or recreational programs with a focus on customer service and community development.
The role requires event or project management experience, strong organisation and communication skills, and the ability to work across diverse communities. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of $88,594 per annum plus superannuation.

Make a positive difference in our diverse community as a Recreation Officer at our Ultimo Community Centre.
You will possess excellent customer service and administrative skills and experience in delivering community programs, along with an understanding of community development. You will also have experience in event or project management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation with excellent organisational, written and communication skills.
To best support our diverse community, bilingual candidates are highly desirable, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin considered an advantage. Experience in facility operations will also be highly regarded.
