Job summary

Wellways Australia is seeking a Recovery Worker – Community Living Support (CLS) in Dubbo to help people on their recovery journey with practical, community-based support. Join a NSW NSW Government-funded initiative delivering tailored psychosocial support.

You will walk alongside participants, build confidence and connect them with communities while maintaining accurate records in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Certificate 4 in Mental Health, Certificate 4 in Mental Health, Peer Work or Certificate 4 in Community Services, or be enrolled in and actively working toward completing one of these qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support participants to develop and work towards their recovery goals and aspirations.
• Provide practical, strengths-based support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
• Foster connections with families, communities and natural support networks.
• Complete recovery plans, assessments, file notes and program documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to deliver coordinated support.
• Travel across the region to meet participant needs
