Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Recovery at Work Advisor based in Burwood, NSW. In this permanent full-time role you will manage recovery at work cases within the Injury and Claims Management team, providing early intervention and practical recovery advice to employees, managers, insurers and health professionals.

You will bring an Allied Health qualification and a valid Australian driver licence, with the ability to travel across Sydney and NSW and occasional after-hours work.

In this role, you'll:

• Be working as part of the Injury and Claims Management team, you will manage recovery at work cases and support employees to achieve positive outcomes.
• This role will see you provide early intervention, workplace assessments and practical recovery advice while working closely with employees, managers, insurers and health professionals.
• Your experience in injury management, occupational rehabilitation or recovery at work will help you successfully manage complex cases and deliver quality service.
• You are a clear communicator, skilled at building relationships and applying NSW workers compensation legislation.
• An appropriate Allied Health qualification and valid Australian driver licence are essential, along with flexibility to travel within Sydney and NSW and occasionally work outside regular hours.
