About the role

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Receptionist/Patient Services to join our friendly and professional team at Bayside Radiology, part of the Carlisle Health Group. The successful candidate will work at our Hervey Bay practice on a permanent full time or part time basis.

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Be the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience.

Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple imaging modalities.

Register patients accurately and verify referral and billing details.

Processing Medicare billing, payments, and performing end-of-day banking.

Maintain accurate patient records and complete data entry tasks.

Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with Privacy Legislation and Carlisle Health policy.

Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, referrers, and internal teams.

Handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Background and experience

A caring and compassionate nature with a patient first focus.

Previous experience in medical or radiology reception is highly desirable.

The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.

Passion for the healthcare industry with the interest for long-term growth.

Highly personable with the ability to build and maintain rapport.

Strong attention to detail and a patient centered approach.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
