Job summary

Carlisle Health Bankstown Clinic seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join on a casual basis, supporting a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will ensure patient safety, comfort and wellbeing throughout imaging journeys within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA RN registration, WWCC, and demonstrate strong clinical judgement with excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced medical imaging environment.

The Role

Bankstown Lidcombe Medical Imaging, part of the Carlisle Health Group, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis.

This is an opportunity to work within a supportive medical imaging environment, assisting with a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the safety, comfort and wellbeing of patients throughout their imaging journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and sedation in accordance with clinical protocols and scope of practice.
• Monitoring and caring for patients before, during and following procedures.
• Assessing patients and responding appropriately to changes in their clinical condition.
• Supporting radiologists and the broader medical imaging team during procedures.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to relevant policies and safety standards.
• Providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Background and experience

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant clinical nursing experience; procedural, sedation or medical imaging experience is highly regarded.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills.
• A calm, professional and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
