Job summary

Cosmetic Elegance Clinic in Toowoomba is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our skin and medical aesthetics team. This role is 20-26 hours per week with rostered days including every second Saturday, supporting busy practitioners and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

As the first point of contact, you will handle phone inquiries, appointments, payments, Medicare and DVA claims, and general clerical tasks while maintaining a welcoming reception and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous reception, administration or customer service experience.
• Medical reception experience is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Professional, positive and patient-focused approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone enquiries and schedule appointments.
• Welcome patients and visitors to the clinic.
• Manage practitioner appointment books and daily schedules.
• Process payments and Medicare and DVA claims.
• Handle emails, mail and general correspondence.
• Complete administrative and data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Open and close reception as required.
• Maintain presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
• Assist with restocking consumables and supplies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including daily laundry tasks.

Cosmetic Elegance Clinic is a leading skin and medical aesthetics practice on the Darling Downs, providing expert care across Skin Cancer Medicine, Cosmetic Medicine, Laser Treatments and Beauty Services.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting our practitioners and clinical team.

This is a part-time position of 20-26 hours per week, with set rostered days including every second Saturday.

Hours are rostered within our clinic operating hours, which are Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 7:00pm, plus rostered Saturday shifts.
