Job summary

Smart Energy is seeking a Rebate Recovery Officer to join our Waterloo, Sydney office, taking ownership of rebate claims and driving recovery across the program. You will liaise with Finance, Operations, Sales and external partners to gather documentation, resolve discrepancies and expedite lodgements using tools like Xero, Airtable, Formbay and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant rebate processing, recovery, or accounts receivable experience.
• Experience investigating outstanding claims and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Strong reconciliation skills with financial and operational data.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills including lookups and pivot tables.
• Clear, confident communication and persistent follow-up.
• Ability to work on-site at our Waterloo, Sydney office.

Responsibilities

• Own rebate recovery from investigation to resolution for outstanding and disputed claims.
• Investigate records and reconcile rebates between provider and internal systems.
• Maintain reporting on ageing, recoveries, and next steps.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales and installers to improve workflows.
