You will develop scalable software, curate data, publish findings, and mentor students while ensuring rigorous testing and documentation aligned with university standards.

Qualifications

  • Masters in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with medical imaging or devices.
  • Experience integrating novel technologies with clinical systems.
  • Experience contributing to or working with teams.
  • Recognition through awards and scholarships.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and front end and back end development of web-based applications.
  • Delivering solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of software for cutting‑edge technologies in real-time image‑guidance of the thorax and abdomen
  • Curate databases and code central to the aims of the grant
  • Author high‑impact publications and present at international conferences
  • Support students and junior researchers
  • Develop software solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Coordinate the architectural design and system planning for software projects
  • Oversee the testing process and implement automated testing frameworks
  • Coordinate deployment pipelines and ensure efficient software deployment
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for software
  • Foster open communication and collaboration within the team
  • Oversee report compilation to meet established standards and ensure compliance
  • Monitor risk within the team and address workplace health and safety considerations
