Job summary

Brisbane City Council is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist ITS to manage IT/OT infrastructure supporting ITS and BMTMC networks. The role operates in real-time, safety-critical environments, delivering reliable real-time services for Brisbane's transport networks.

The successful candidate will maintain and upgrade ITS/BMTMC systems, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide high-quality end-user support while remaining available for after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of server and hardware administration in distributed networks.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP, PKI, databases, Puppet/Ansible/Chef.
• Strong customer-focused technical support and end-user service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ITS and BMTMC infrastructure systems and applications.
• Provide timely end-user support and coordinate with vendors.
• Deliver secure, best-practice infrastructure solutions.
• Perform upgrades to ITS and BMTMC infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
