Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is hiring for an embedded software engineer to develop software for Customer Terminal devices in Project Leo. You will participate across the SDLC, coding in C/C++, Rust and Python, and apply real-time embedded practices in Linux/RTOS environments.

You will review hardware diagrams and troubleshooting techniques, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable connectivity for Leo products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing multi-tiered, embedded or distributed software systems
• Experience programming in C++, C#, Java or Perl

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the Project Leo system.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC: requirements, design, code, test, and coverage.
• Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, Python or other languages.
• Apply real-time embedded software philosophies and practices.
• Work with Linux and RTOS environments.
• Review schematics, logic analyzers and embedded software troubleshooting techniques.
