Job summary

Macquarie Asset Management is seeking an Associate in the Fund Management team within the Enterprise division. The role supports the Real Assets business, including infrastructure, agriculture and real estate, with focus on finance, treasury, operations and valuations.

You will handle transaction support, accounting close, reporting cycles, and collaborate with auditors on fund reporting, with opportunities to drive value through improved data flows and AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience, preferably in the financial services industry in a finance related role, ideally fund management.
• Qualified chartered accountant, with an ability to understand complex structures and transactions
• Ambitious with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders on different levels
• Ability to work well under pressure, partnered with organisational skills enabling you to manage multiple deadlines with limited supervision and direction

Responsibilities

• Support transactions for new deals and funds, and manage close and post-close matters.
• Oversee fund administrator services and tax consultants; supervise SPV accounting and audits.
• Collaborate with asset-level finance teams on periodic reporting cycles.
• Oversee investor, management, lender and compliance reporting obligations.
• Evaluate strategic opportunities to improve data flows and technology platforms, including AI adoption.
