Job summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Head Housekeeper / Cleaner to join their team in New Addington, Croydon. The role focuses on leading a cleaning team and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at the Addington Heights Resource Centre.

Working Thursdays and Fridays, 8am–4pm, you will ensure tasks are completed to high standards, adhere to COSHH and Health & Safety procedures, and support residents and staff with a caring, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising domestic or cleaning teams within a residential or care home environment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, COSHH regulations, and Health and Safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, delegate, and ensure tasks are completed to high standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, maintaining a caring and professional attitude toward residents and staff.
• First Aid at work certificate (training will be provided)

Responsibilities

• Lead a cleaning team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at the Addington Heights Resource Centre.

If you are a dedicated and reliable Head Housekeeper / Cleaner who is passionate, professional and caring, our client would love for you to be part of the team.

Location: New Addington, Croydon, CR0 0DN

Hours: 8am - 4pm, Thursday and Friday (7 hours per day, 1 hour break)

Pay Rate: Starting at £14.63, increasing to £15.14 following successful completion of 5-month probationary period.

The Role
