Job summary

Tasman Logistics Services, based in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a highly skilled Reach Stacker Operator to join our logistics team on the PM shift. You will load and unload containers from trucks using correct handling methods and adhere to procedural processes for safety and efficiency.

You will conduct daily pre-start inspections, monitor reefers, and maintain safe operating procedures while meeting customer service time frames.

Qualifications

• RS HRW license required.
• Reach Stacker experience required.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers from trucks using correct handling methods.
• Perform pre-start inspections on Reach Stacker and equipment and report defects.
• Monitor reefers and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Operate safely within approved speed limits and procedures.
• Meet service time frames and maintain WHS practices.

Job description

We require a highly skilled and qualified Reach Stacker Operator to join our team, on the PM shift.

Load and unload containers from trucks using correct handling methods and following procedural processes in a safe and efficient manner

Ensure customer (internal and external) service time frames and service levels are being met

Dig out containers ready for day shift deliveries and slots

Reefer monitoring

Perform routine pre-start inspections on Reach Stacker and equipment and refer any defects or needed repairs to the Site Manager

Operate Reach Stacker within the approved speed limits and exercise safe operating procedures

Pro-active WHS practices to prevent harm to self and others

5pm start time and 11-12 hours per day.

About you:

Hold a current RS HRW License, with proven operational experience Reach Stacker

Have a great attitude

Team player, with effective communication and work coordination skills.
