Job summary

Arrow Transport in Altona seeks an experienced Container handler/Reach Stacker Operator for the PM shift in our 3PL Warehouse team. You will load/unload containers, perform yard sorting, and assist with other warehouse duties while prioritising safety.

Must hold RS high risk licence (Reach Stacker), a valid driver’s licence, and be available for Monday–Friday PM shifts with some Saturdays. Permanent full-time position with employee benefits via Employment Hero.

Qualifications

• Current RS high risk licence (Reach Stacker) is required.
• Experience operating a reach stacker in a container yard is essential.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport are required.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday PM shift with Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a container reach stacker to load/unload container trucks.
• Carry out container yard sorting and allocation with safety emphasis.
• Stack containers safely in compliance with OHS requirements.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and other warehouse duties when required.
• Complete pre-start inspections and documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with Operations team to ensure smooth processes.
• Support warehouse team with related duties as needed.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Container handler/Reach Stacker Operator to join our 3PL Warehouse team in Altona on the PM shift. This role will also require you to be a warehouse all rounder at times to support the operations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operating a container reach stacker to safely load and unload container trucks.
• Container allocation and safe, effective yard sorting.
• Safe stacking of containers in compliance with OHS requirements.
• Assisting with loading/unloading trucks and other warehouse duties when required.
• Completing pre-start inspections and documentation accurately.
• Working closely with Operations teamstaff to ensure smooth operations.
• Supporting the warehouse team as required with other warehouse related duties

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current RS high risk work licence (Reach Stacker)
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Previous experience operating a reach stacker in a container yard.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ability to commit to Monday-Friday PM shift, with Saturdays as required.
• High focus on safety and COR compliance, with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
• Eagerness to show initiative and be a team player.
