Public Sector People partners with a Local Council in Sydney to recruit a Rates & Revenue Officer for a 3-month contract. The role supports daily administration of council rates, revenue functions, rate accounts and customer enquiries within a busy finance team.

The ideal candidate will have local government rates experience, strong reconciliations and data management skills, and familiarity with TechnologyOne or Civica. This contract offers immediate contribution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Rates & Revenue position within Local Government.
• Strong understanding of council rating processes and legislation.
• Experience using systems such as TechnologyOne, Civica or similar local government software.
• Strong reconciliation and data management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Public Sector People are partnering with a Local Council to recruit an experienced Rates & Revenue Officer for a 3-month contract opportunity. This position will support the day-to-day administration of council rates and revenue functions, ensuring the accurate processing of rate accounts, property information, reconciliations and customer enquiries.
