Consolidated Pastoral Company Pty Ltd – Middlemount QLD is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide childcare on a rural station. The role combines nursery and family support with light station duties, including interaction with cattle and livestock activities.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in caring for children.
• Previous nanny/babysitting or childcare experience desirable.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with parents and colleagues.
• Flexible to work some weekends.
• Possession of an unrestricted manual driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for the children whilst their parents are working, with station duties around schooling requirements.
• Care for and supervise the children when not at school, following routines.
• Plan age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities to support learning and development.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to childcare.
• Assist with cattle muster, drafting, processing and loading using low-stress handling; maintain animal welfare.
