Job summary

Queensland Rail is hiring a Trackworker (Labourer) in Dalby to support the track team responsible for maintenance between Jondaryan to Chinchilla and Meandarra. This permanent role offers a stable base salary and a 9-day fortnight, with paid travel time and lodging when working away.

As a Trackworker you will perform heavy manual labour, replace sleepers, and tackle a variety of track maintenance tasks in challenging weather.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual handling or physical labouring.
• Ability to travel and work in Regional Queensland.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of the railway track.
• Perform outdoor labouring duties across the region.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
