Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Sydney is seeking a Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance Engineer to coordinate SESA deliverables across six subsystems including BMCS, FDS, CCTV, EACS, PAVA and PIDS. You will collaborate with engineering teams, project management, customers and head contractors to ensure safety assurance is integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong risk-based SME input, RAM and hazard analysis, and experience in rail projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, System Safety, Risk or related field.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
• Experience in rail project environments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SESA deliverables across six subsystems (BMCS, FDS, CCTV, EACS, PAVA, PIDS).
• Promote risk-based SME support to project teams and Honeywell.
• Coordinate input from engineering, project management, customer and head contractor representatives.
• Support development of design, construction, installation and testing activities.
