Job summary

Tagteam is seeking a Rail Supervisor – LV Electrical in Sydney to lead and support our in-house team of electricians and trade assistants across station and depot projects under a Long-Term government LV contract.

The role requires NSW Electrical Licence and strong experience within the Sydney Trains network. You will supervise LV works, mentor staff, perform safety audits and assist with estimating, while coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Licence (required).
• Extensive experience in the Sydney Trains network (LV works).
• Understanding of rail safety, permits and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; prior supervision or mentoring is a bonus.
• Experience with estimating electrical works is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LV electrical works across train stations and depot sites.

Rail Supervisor – LV Electrical (Sydney Trains)

We’re looking for a NSW licensed electrician with extensive experience in the Sydney Trains network to join our team as a Rail Supervisor. This role will see you lead and support our in-house team of electricians and trade assistants across station and depot projects under a dedicated Low Voltage Electrical (LV) contract.

You’ll be hands‑on with supervision, estimating, safety audits, quality assurance, and on‑site mentoring—all while working within the Sydney Trains framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee LV electrical works across train stations and depot sites

Conduct site‑based safety inspections, toolbox talks & ensure compliance

Perform quality control checks and work sign‑off

Assist with estimating and quoting of electrical works

Mentor and support technicians and trade assistants

Coordinate with project managers and Sydney Trains stakeholders

About You:

Must hold a current NSW Electrical Licence

Strong experience within the Sydney Trains network—LV corridor works preferred

Understanding of rail safety, permits, and compliance requirements

Strong communicator with leadership potential

Previous supervision or estimating experience is a bonus
