Job summary

NSBC Group is expanding its Rail Replacement Services in Sydney and seeking experienced casual Bus Drivers to cover weekend shifts across the Sydney metropolitan rail network.

Join a professional operation delivering passengers during rail shutdowns in a modern fleet, including electric and diesel buses. Shifts are long, with a strong focus on safety and customer service, and offer flexible weekend work.

Qualifications

• Current NSW MR Licence (minimum) or HR/HC Licence.
• Current NSW Bus Driver Authority.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Excellent driving record and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers during planned and adhoc rail shutdowns across Sydney while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Maintain safety, reliability and professionalism on every shift; shifts are long (~9–10 hours).
• Be part of NSBC’s rail replacement operations, contributing to a reliable transport service during rail disruptions.

Rail Replacement Services- Experienced Bus Drivers

NSBC part of Go Zero group is expanding and is seeking experienced and customer-focused Casual Bus Drivers to join our growing team delivering Rail Replacement Services across Sydney primarily covering Weekend Shifts across Sydney Metropolitan rail network.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional operation supporting Sydney's public transport network while driving our modern fleet, including New Electric low-floor buses and Diesel buses.

About the Role:

As a Rail Replacement Bus Driver, you will safely transport passengers during planned and adhoc rail shutdowns across Sydney while delivering exceptional customer service.

Safety, reliability and professionalism are at the heart of everything we do. Please note these shifts are not broken or short shifts. One shift can run for approx. 9-10 hours.

To be considered, you must have:

• Current NSW MR Licence (minimum) OR HR OR HC Licence
• Current NSW Bus Driver Authority
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Excellent driving record and commitment to safety.
• Heavy vehicle driving experience, especially in 57-seater buses.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Ability to work weekends, early mornings, evenings and public holidays
• Experience operating rail replacement or charter services or ability to learn
• Knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan road network.
• Experience working in high-volume passenger transport environments.
