Job summary

Gemco Rail, a subsidiary of Engenco Limited, is seeking a motivated Production Planner to join our Rockhampton facility. You will develop, manage and optimise work schedules for wagon maintenance projects, collaborating with operations to ensure timely delivery and efficient service.

The role reports to the Service Delivery Manager and involves close interaction with the customer and internal teams. Essential knowledge includes production planning and maintenance operations, strong

Qualifications

Strong technical and industry knowledge relevant to production planning and maintenance operations.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead by example in the implementation and improvement of the workplace safety culture.
Make regular contact with the customer and provide updates in a timely manner.
Identify critical gaps in service capabilities and escalate appropriately.
Creation and management of Work Orders.
Management of project documentation and uploading to customer database.
Analysing labour hours on jobs and compiling costing to create invoices to customers.
Raise Purchase Requisitions for costs related to the job.
Interpret and track parts usage on the job.
