Job summary

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) seeks a Project Possessions Coordinator for a 2-year fixed term contract based in Broadmeadow, NSW. You will optimise track access for maintenance and project delivery while minimising disruptions to train operations across the ARTC network.

You will assess and coordinate possession requests, develop temporary variations to the Master Train Plan, and coordinate stakeholder consultation with asset maintainers, project teams and operators to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• Rail freight or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience or knowledge in train and possession planning.
• Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and information management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise track access for maintenance and project works while minimising impacts on train operations.
• Assess and coordinate track access and possession requests within operational limits.
• Develop temporary variations to the Master Train Plan and coordinate stakeholder consultation.
• Collaborate with asset maintainers, project teams and operators to secure effective track access.
• Represent ARTC at possession planning forums and project meetings.
• Monitor possessions and their impact on train running to improve planning and approvals.
• Prepare possession planning reports and supporting records.
• Provide operational advice to Network Coordination on planned possessions and related issues.
