Job summary

Australian Rail Track Corp. (ARTC) is seeking a skilled Rail Operations Planner to optimise track access for maintenance and major projects.

You will minimise disruption to train operations while coordinating track access, possessions and stakeholder communications across ARTC networks. Based in Australia, you will collaborate with asset maintainers, project teams and operators to ensure train path continuity and efficient planning.

Qualifications

• Rail freight or logistics experience.
• Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise track access for maintenance and project works with minimal impact on train operations.
• Assess and coordinate track access and possession requests within operational limits.
• Develop temporary variations to the Master Train Plan and coordinate stakeholder consultation.
• Collaborate with asset maintainers, project teams and operators to secure effective track access and maintain train path continuity.
• Represent ARTC at possession planning forums and project meetings.
