Job summary

Metro Trains Sydney Pty seeks an experienced Operational Technology Systems Engineer to lead cybersecurity and OT configuration governance within the Engineering & Maintenance Delivery team. You will manage OT system administration, incident response, and compliance across the MTS technology environment, working with the IT team to protect our rail operations.

• Qualifications in Engineering, Cyber Security or Computer Systems with automation experience.
• Experience with OT network communications and protocols.
• Ability to audit cybersecurity standards and perform configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Manage, audit and implement cyber security and OT configuration SOPs within MTS.
• Oversee OT systems administration, user management and access controls.
• Monitor OT policy compliance for vendors, third parties and staff.
• Track security operations and infrastructure, analyze alerts and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate patches, upgrades, renewals and expansion/interface works for OT systems.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to ensure governance and risk-based cyber security strategy.
