Zusammenfassung

Aurizon is offering a hands-on opportunity for qualified mechanical tradespersons at the Narngulu depot to join our Rollingstock Maintenance team. You will help keep locomotives, wagons and freight services moving safely, with service, repair and maintenance duties.

This role includes paid breaks, shift penalties, tool and location allowances, and clear pathways for career progression in a leading rail freight operation in Western Australia.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical trades background with ability to fault-find and maintain locomotives, wagons or heavy industrial plant is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Keep locomotives and wagons running safely through service, repair and maintenance work.
• Perform inspections, fault-finding and corrective maintenance on rollingstock assets.
• Work to scheduled maintenance programs and report on completed work.
• Follow technical specifications to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records for asset condition, maintenance activity and costing systems.
• Apply safe work practices and continuous improvement across daily tasks.
• Support other WA maintenance depots as required under the EA agreement.
