Job summary

Aurizon is seeking Electrical Tradespeople to join the Rollingstock Maintenance team in Thevenard, Ceduna, South Australia. You will perform inspections, fault-finding, servicing and repairs across locomotives, wagons, plant and infrastructure to ensure assets are safe and reliable for freight operations.

• Undertaking train examinations and operating fixed/mobile plant as needed.
• Supporting derailment recovery and field response work when required.
• Accurately completing work orders and following safety procedures.
• Providing on-the-job support or guidance to apprentices or other team members.

Job description

• Electrical Trade Certificate (mandatory)
• Valid A-Class Electrical Licence
• Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and technical documentation
• Flexibility to work across various shifts as required - roster details will be discussed at interview
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Committed to safe work practices and team-based maintenance
• Unrestricted C-Class Driver’s Licence
• Physically fit and able to meet rail medical requirements
