Job summary

UGL Transport seeks an Infield Delivery Manager to join our NSW Passenter team. This role will be located at our Eveleigh Maintenance Centre before moving to the Sydenham Maintenance Facility.

You will lead a team of maintainers, champion safety, and drive operational excellence to meet maintenance outcomes and project expectations. If you have strong leadership, Lean experience and a track record of developing high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a maintenance, production or operational environment.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies, continuous improvement and operational excellence practices.
• Ability to manage safety, quality and environmental requirements within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading a strong safety culture aligned with UGL's One HSE Culture framework.
• Empowering, mentoring and developing team members to achieve maintenance and operational objectives.
• Ensuring train availability and reliability targets are achieved through effective planning and execution.
• Monitoring maintenance performance and proactively managing operational risks.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean principles and innovative ways of working.
• Building collaborative relationships with operational teams, customers and project stakeholders.
• Managing team performance, career development, succession planning and capability growth.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, policies, procedures and reporting standards.
