Job summary

Aurizon’s Civil Infrastructure Team in Gladstone is seeking experienced Track Workers (RIW Level 3). You will be part of a small team carrying out track maintenance to required standards and supporting safe outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Ideal applicants hold a C class driver’s licence (HR or higher preferred), have solid rail labouring experience and a Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure. Experience with loaders/excavators and welding is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Minimum C Class Driver’s Licence required; HR Licence or higher preferred.
• Strong rail labouring experience and knowledge.
• Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure.
• Experience operating loaders or excavators; welding experience is a plus.
• Willing to complete any training within 6–12 months.
• Problem solving and the ability to think ahead and speak up in all situations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out track maintenance to required standards as part of a small team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather with a safety‑first mindset.
