Job summary

The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is hiring an Infrastructure Maintainer in New South Wales. You will contribute to maintaining ARTC's rail network, performing hands-on track maintenance, inspections, and safety duties while adhering to safety standards.

A 9 days on / 5 days off roster with 7am–4pm shifts is in place, with overtime opportunities. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, flexible, and able to travel as required.

Qualifications

• General Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• Current Driver's Licence required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
• Pass a Category 1 Rail Medical.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and upkeep of ARTC's rail network, including preventative and reactive tasks.
• Carry out track maintenance, safety protection duties and inspections of rail infrastructure.
• Operate heavy machinery, welding, and other specialised maintenance activities in line with safety and quality standards.
