Job summary

HR Partners in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Service Technician for a global rail and industrial engineering leader based at Rydalmere. Qualifications

  • Trade qualification in relevant field.
  • Experience troubleshooting heavy mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical rail equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in client gear.
  • Perform functional testing, calibration, and commissioning with specialised test rigs and tools.
  • Complete service logs, inspection reports, and QA paperwork for each job.
  • Follow EHS policies and maintain 5S standards in the workshop.
