Job summary

Port Macquarie Radiology is seeking two casual medical receptionists to join our front desk team at Bridge Street. As patient numbers grow and MRI is introduced, there is genuine potential to transition to full-time for the right person.

We value warmth, a welcoming demeanor and the ability to put patients at ease from the moment they arrive. Front desk staff will greet patients, manage bookings by phone, email and in person, handle Medicare/bulk billing and private payments, and support

Qualifications

• Medical reception experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Warmth and interpersonal skills are highly valued.
• Willingness to learn the systems used at the practice.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in and out.
• Book and manage appointments by phone, email and in person.
• Process Medicare, bulk billing and private payments.
• Handle referrals and patient paperwork accurately.
• Support radiographers and sonographers to keep the day running smoothly.
