Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Radiographer to join the BreastScreen NSW NSCC Central Coast sites on a permanent part-time basis. You will perform daily mammographic services, ensuring targets are met in line with NSW Health policies and NAS, while providing high-quality client care.

The role requires current AHPRA/MRPBA registration and NSW EPA radiography licence, plus CPD commitment and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA MRPBA and NSW EPA radiation licence.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD), including CMP or willingness to undertake.
• Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily mammographic services for BreastScreen NSW NSCC Central Coast sites.
• Ensure screening and assessment targets are met within budget and NSW Health policies and NAS.

You will work mostly at the BreastSceen NSW NSCC Central Coast sites

What You'll Be Doing

To provide the daily provision of mammographic services relating to all breast imaging and related client care for BreastScreen NSW NSCC. This includes ensuring screening and assessment targets are met within the budget and under the policies, procedures and guidelines of the Breast Screen NSW program and NSW Health and the National Accreditation Standards (NAS).

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

• Current Registration with AHPRA MRPBA. Current NSW EPA radiation licence.
• Evidence of commitment to actively pursuing continue professional development (CPD), including holding a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) or willingness to undertake.
• Demonstrated ability to work and contribute both in an unsupervised capacity and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
