Job summary

SA Health's Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Radiographer specialising in Breast Imaging for BreastScreen SA. The role delivers high-quality mammography services across metropolitan clinics, supporting early detection and a positive patient experience.

This temporary, part-time position (3 days per week until March 2027) requires a recognised Diagnostic Radiography qualification and registration, plus experience in general radiography and QA.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Diagnostic Radiography qualification and registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
• Experience in general radiography and quality assurance processes.
• Demonstrates empathy and strong communication with diverse client needs.
• Ability to manage priorities while delivering quality, confidential care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, efficient mammography screening services across metropolitan clinics.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, person-centred care.
• Build effective relationships with CALHN and other stakeholders.

Salary: AHP2 - $94,997 - $110,052 p.a. (pro-rata) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits

About the role

Join BreastScreen SA as a Radiographer (Breast Imaging) and use your expertise to make a meaningful contribution to women’s health. You’ll provide high-quality, efficient mammography screening services across metropolitan clinics, helping deliver a positive and professional experience for clients while supporting the early detection of breast cancer. Working as part of a skilled radiography and multidisciplinary team, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues, clients and service providers to deliver safe, person-centred care. You’ll also build effective relationships with CALHN and other government and non-government stakeholders, contributing to a trusted screening service focused on quality outcomes for the South Australian community.

About You

• Hold a recognised Diagnostic Radiography qualification and registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
