Job summary

Central Queensland Radiology in Rockhampton, QLD, seeks a Radiographer to join our Integrated Diagnostics network. You will perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations across Rockhampton public and private sites, delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• CT experience highly regarded but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations while delivering high-quality patient care.
• Contribute to general X-ray, CT, MRI where applicable, interventional procedures, emergency and inpatient imaging, fluoroscopy and theatre work.

About the Role

Working closely with the Chief Radiographer and broader clinical team, you will perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations while delivering high-quality patient care. Our clinics in Rockhampton consist of Public & Private Hospital sites and private clinics.

The role offers exposure to:

• General X-ray
• CT
• MRI (where applicable)
• Interventional procedures
• Emergency and inpatient imaging
• Fluoroscopy and theatre work

You will play an important role in maintaining excellent clinical standards and contributing to a positive patient experience.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• CT experience highly regarded but not essential as training provided
