Job summary

I-MED in Hobart is seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our team. You will work across General X‑Ray, CT, and theatre imaging, reporting to the Chief Radiographer.

The role is a fixed-term, full-time position with Monday to Friday shifts and possible weekend/on-call work in a busy hospital and outpatient setting. As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will contribute to high-quality imaging, maintain safety standards, and participate in ongoing CPD and career development

Qualifications

• Must hold current Radiography Radiation license and professional registration.
• Qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Radiography.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients and operate imaging equipment across General X‑Ray, CT and Theatre.
• Deliver high levels of patient care and service.
• Maintain strong relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers.

Our clinics in Hobart are currently seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our team! As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases, in both a public hospital and busy outpatient clinic environment.

Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, in this role you will be responsible for driving high quality and efficient imaging services across a range of modalities including General X-Ray, CT and theatre. This role is for a Fixed Term Full-Time Permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7.5-hour shifts between 7:30am - 8:00pm, with weekend and on call work as required.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT and Theatre II
• Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
• Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Key selection criteria:

• Ability to obtain and or have current relevant Radiography Radiation license and professional registration
• Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
• Previous experience in CT is an advantage, but training in CT will be offered to the right candidate
