Job summary

GenesisCare in Albany, WA, is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join an established multidisciplinary team. This permanent full-time role is 9 days per fortnight, with a Monday–Friday roster and weekends free, promoting a balanced lifestyle in beautiful coastal Albany.

You will deliver high-quality radiotherapy planning and treatment using advanced technology, while collaborating with oncologists, physicists, nurses, and colleagues to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven competence in radiotherapy planning and treatment.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary cancer care setting.
• Registration with AHPRA as a Radiation Therapist and WA Radiological Council licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiotherapy planning and treatment following best practice standards.
• Perform radiation therapy procedures with precision and safety.
• Complete administration and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain exceptional patient care and centre standards throughout the treatment journey.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Nurses and the broader team.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centred culture focused on outcomes.

This is a permanent full-time position working 9 days per fortnight, giving you more time to enjoy everything Albany has to offer. With a Monday to Friday roster, you'll have your weekends free while building your career with one of Australia's leading cancer care providers.

More Specifically, You Will

• Deliver high quality radiation therapy planning and treatment in line with best practice standards
• Accurately perform all radiation therapy procedures, ensuring precision and safety at every step
• Ensure all administration and documentation requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain exceptional patient care and centre standards throughout the treatment journey
• Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Nurses, and the broader multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to a positive, patient centred culture focused on delivering outstanding outcomes

• Demonstrate technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy planning and treatment
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Have a strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services
• Hold current AHPRA registration as a Radiation Therapist
• Hold a current Radiological Council of WA licence
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high quality patient care
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
• Are able to develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationships
