Job summary

GenesisCare is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join the Norwest clinic on a permanent, full-time basis, with a 4-day week. You’ll deliver high-quality radiation therapy and planning within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, using contemporary technology and techniques.

We offer a competitive salary up to AUD 130,653 + super, dependent on experience, with opportunities for training and professional development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Experience with radiation therapy treatment, simulation and planning.
• Knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.
• Interest in developing professionally across all department areas, including planning and the Elekta Unity MR Linac.
• Experience with Monaco Treatment Planning System highly regarded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient-focused approach and commitment to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatment and planning in accordance with clinical protocols and best practice.
• Undertake treatment, simulation and planning responsibilities across the department.
• Work collaboratively as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care.
• Ensure radiation therapy processes and procedures are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and administration in a professional and timely manner.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and the continuous improvement of our clinical services.

More specifically, you will:

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatment and planning in accordance with clinical protocols and best practice.

• Work collaboratively as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care.

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated technical competence across radiation therapy treatment, simulation and planning.
• Knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.
• An interest in continuing to develop professionally across all areas of the department, including planning and the Elekta Unity MR Linac.
• Experience with the Monaco Treatment Planning System would be highly regarded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A patient-focused approach and genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care.
