Job summary

Trinity College in Adelaide seeks a Specialist Junior School (Reception - Year 2) Teacher to join our multi-site Anglican College. The role requires sound early years pedagogy, registration in SA, and a commitment to Christian education. Demonstrated experience in Reception–Year 2 is advantageous.

You will work within a Christian, caring environment, supported by wellbeing, curriculum and faith teams, and contribute to the College's graduate qualities and pastoral care programmes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in junior school years teaching.
• Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration.
• Demonstrated commitment to Christian education.
• Desire and skills to participate in the school's pastoral care programme.
• Passion for understanding how learning occurs and teaching appropriate primary pedagogy.
• Ability to respond positively to the pressures of a modern classroom.
• Ability to set high standards for student learning and performance.
• Ability to manage administrative details of the position.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity.
• Knowledge of equal opportunity and work safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Support Early Primary (R-2) education as part of a skilled team.
• Collaborate with staff to provide wellbeing, curriculum, and faith support.
